Top Ten Verses

This list is dedicated to all those songs that you listen to just for that one verse in it; and of course the songs that you can listen to over and over again just because they are so damn good! (***All songs have been mildly censored***)

 10. Pulling up the rear is "Thou Shall" By Young Buck.

They Say Thou Shall Not Steal, Thou Shall Not Kill
But Rub Me The Wrong Way, N**** And I Will
Thou Shall Not Cheat, Thou Shall Not Squeel
Cuz N****s'll Put A Hole In Ya Ass, And That's Real

9. Now  from "Defence"  of Eminem's latest album

"I love bein hated, it great
It let's me know that I made it
I wouldn't have it no other way
I wouldn't trade it for the world
Only let's me know that I'm loved
by so many other motherfuckers that ain't you"

8. From the song "Ready for Whatever" by T.I.

"ima man i aint perfect i admit it im guilty
but understand feel me i was riding filthy
cuz niggas out there plottin to rob me and kill me
500,000 erry year spent on security
my future was bright but now its gettin blury
cuz niggas in a hurry to find me and bury me
but surely God'll deliver me up out it
ima fighter till the heart i'll foreva be about it
ima father to my sons except to my community
look all that i done my good out weigh the negativity
ey mentally i was focused on not lettin history repeat itself
thats why he was kept in a vicinity
yes offically i broke the law but not maliciously
through all the publicity was anyone considerate
my position and the logic hidden my decision
but they caught me wit em now im off to prison, PERIOD"

7.  Joe Budden and a bit of "Sidetracked"

"Sometimes I wanna make money,
But sometimes I ain't motivated
Sometimes I think it's overrated.
Sometimes I'm thinkin' I wasn't supposed ta' make it
But what I show is basic, I normally pokerface it. (What else?)
Sometimes I wanna make music
Sometimes I think it's jus' useless
So y'all don't hear alot of new shit
Clueless, dependin' on what my mood is.
Sometimes I wanna dress-down
I mean I wanna let-up, but'chall be let down.
I'm so easily sidetracked
I jus' lost my train of thought, but besides that...
I wanna stop somebody an' keep it real
But know that they'll understand 'fore I tell 'em how I feel.
I wish I knew how it'd feel
I swear I needed somethin' from the store.
Got a call that I jus' ignored, my day's hectic
I'm overwhelmed wit' thoughts, leave a message."

6. And now from the song "All Shall Perish" by AOTP

"Don't let your life be the aim of pure misery
Don't let this knife keep your frame on floor, shivering
This pain and strife can no longer exist to me
Don't be the cause of an unsolved mystery"

5.This verse was performed by Nas in the remix of the song "Why"

"Yo 'Kiss they wanna hide from the truth, its ya comrade Nas, right here lets go
Roll or not Blood of a panther
Why is the question, what is the answer?
Got a suggestion here's an example
Why don’t we build our own airlines, states, and highways?
Fly to Africa do some trades with Zimbabwe?
Why did Malcom’s misson die with the man?
Why aint we pick it up where he left it and carry out his plan?
Why the merger try to exclude L.A Reid?
He brought you usher, outkast, top selling CDs.
Why do half of America got aids?
Why do schools care bout ur sons braids more then they care for his grades?
Why do they hate our white t-shirts and hats turned backwards?
And why is Jesus Christ never played by black actors?
And why aint there an MC that can touch me nor budge me?
And why is the Nas the best thing in rap since Chuck D?
And why this record aint sell 5 mill yet Jada’s as real as it get
Put my money where my mouth is and do something bout this."

4.  Coming in at number 4 we've got some lyrics originally from the song "Like Father, Like Son" by The Game; however he later released "Live ta Die" that features the lyrics in the chorus.

"Lord forgive me for my sins, I know it's last minute
Put the chronic in the air, a little hash in it
Spread my wings, If only I could fly
Why fight to live homie?, If we livin' ta die"

3. From the song "Crack a Bottle" by Eminem Featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent; the verse performed by Dr. Dre

They see that low rider go by they're, like Oh my!
You ain’t got to tell me why you’re sick cuz I know why.
I dip through in that six trey like sick em Dre.
I’m an itch that they cant scratch, they sick of me.
But hey, what else can I say? I love LA.
Cuz over and above all, its just another day
And this one begins where the last one ends.
Pick up where we left off and get smashed again.
I’ll be dammed, just f*cked around and crashed my Benz.
Driving around with a smashed front end
Lets cash that one in.
Grab another one from out the stable
The Monte Carlo, El Camino or the El Dorado
The hell if I know.
Do I want leather seats or vinyl?
Decisions, decisions
Garage looks like Precision Collision.
Or Maaco beats quake like Waco
Just keep the bass low speakers away from your face though

2. This verse was performed by Celph Titled of AOTP in the song "Seven"

"Ya betta cross your T's,
Cuz we'll dot your eyes,
You can say that you specialized but Pharaohs will Optimize,
Backstage will get a ***** backsmacked there,
The macplayer like dirty south pimpslapped clap snares, YYEAAH.
Holy Paragraphs, What kind of **** is that,
I'm jesus in the flesh so this is mutha***** christian rap,
Ya'll just christmas rap, must be the secret santa,
my reindeer aim near, pierce you with the antlers,
I made em go easy, I called off the wolves oN my AOTP radio CD,
Cuz ya'll aint worthy of grenades and RPG's,
Slit throat hope you float with sardines and seaweed,
Cuz this is C-E-L-P-H demonic symphony,
Listen to the hell we make,
In a year before your kids 10th birthday came,
You didn't have to wait for candles on the cake to see the nine flame."

1. And finally: The Game -- "Doctor's Advocate" ... Nuff' said

"I didn't mean to walk away,
But I hear every word they say,
I guess my mind just drew a blank,
Like la, la, la....
Now I'm sitting in this goddamn cage,
Reminiscing about my day,
Wit' your blood all over my slate,
As the devil says, la, la, la...

Dre, I didn't mean to turn my back on you,
But I'm a man, and sometimes a man do, what he gotta do,
Remember, I'm from Compton too,
I saw you and Eazy in 'em so I started wearing Khaki suits,
I was 12, smoking chronic, in '92,
I had a choice, be like Mike, or be like you,
I made a choice, now it's be Crip, or be Piru,
Whatever I was, I was banging Gin and Juice,
Never knew back then, I'd be friends with Snoop,
Now I gotta keep it gangsta cuz it's in my roots,
So I owe you my life, when I betrayed you,
I tried to think of what the fuck, Eminem might do.
If every n***a hated him, for that black bitch track,
And n***as stopped bumping Dre after Dee Barnes got slapped,
When Doc say it's a wrap, it's a rap,
It's still Aftermath, and ain't nuttin' after that!
